Toonami Shakes Up Schedule for 2020
Toonami originals are taking a break for the rest of the year in favor of marathons for One-Punch Man and Dr. Stone, but the action toon block has already announced it’s schedule for when they get back. As you’ll see, there’s a bit of a shuffle given the number of originals that have wrapped leaving really just Jojo and Demon Slayer has the only two series premiering new English dubbed episodes while most of everything else is on Funimation. Here are the full listings that kick off starting January 4th.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
