English Dub Review: LINK CLICK “Blood-Red Storm”
Overview
The secret behind the Chinatown family massacre is revealed!
Our Take
Picking up from the previous episode, LINK CLICK delivers an intense look into Vein’s troubled past, with Lu Guang’s actions putting him in danger once again. Wang Qing and Xia Fei’s involvement raises questions about their history, while young Lee Jae’s encounter with a gruesome scene adds another layer to his character. The episode also explores Vein’s disturbing behavior, offering a glimpse into the harsh environment that shaped him.
The rest of the proceedings raise plenty of questions about Xia Fei’s unusual reactions, his relationship with Wang Qing, and his connection to Vein. Meanwhile, Liu Xiao’s growing involvement in the overarching mystery makes him an increasingly intriguing figure, especially regarding his interest in Qiao Ling. Cheng Xiaoshi also begins pressing Lu Guang for answers, showing that his concern for his friend outweighs his willingness to accept another excuse. Their confrontation was compelling, although the sudden chibi comedy slightly undermined the serious tone.
Overall, this was a gripping episode filled with intriguing character developments, disturbing moments, and mysteries that keep getting deeper. Lu Guang’s questionable decisions add another layer of tension, while Cheng Xiaoshi’s growing suspicions make their strained relationship especially compelling. With so many unanswered questions surrounding Vein, Xia Fei, and Liu Xiao, the story continues building toward what promises to be an exciting conclusion.
