Our Take(Spoilers):

This episode was fantastic, and if the next episode sticks the landing, it will be even better. There was only one thing that I was critical of. How is it that Kogori has no clue that the woman who sat with him was Yamato? I know the “Clark Kent” effect is a real thing because sometimes people can change a few things and become almost unrecognizable, but if I’ve known someone since I was a kid, I think I wouldn’t have that problem. But he has no idea it was her, and that is kind of annoying.

Now, as for the rest of the episode, that was awesome. Sakuradaimon is an idiot; that’s been a huge premise for this show. But I love that he’s being introspective and trying to figure out why he feels certain things. Poem wanted to go to a couple’s shrine alone with him at night, and he didn’t think it was a good idea, but thought about it a lot.

This episode ends on a cliffhanger, and I’m hoping beyond hope that they don’t make a dumb joke out of it. Sakuradaimon tells Poem that he believes he likes her. I’m hoping that he doesn’t play it off as him liking her as a friend or any other dumb joke they could make to play it off as a misunderstanding. If Sakuradaimon is earnest with his confession, and it’s a love confession, we could be in for some good stuff.
