‘Baki-Dou’ Part 2 Continues the High-Stakes Fight on Netflix Next Month

The brutal, time-transcending martial arts showdown is about to reach its climax. TMS Entertainment and Netflix have officially announced that Part 2 of BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai will premiere exclusively worldwide on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

Following the series’ format of major block releases, all 12 remaining episodes (Episodes 14–25) will drop simultaneously. The new chapter will pick up immediately after the chaotic events of the first part, which debuted on the streaming platform back in February.

Based on the popular manga by Keisuke Itagaki, Baki-Dou follows a forbidden, cutting-edge scientific experiment hidden 364 meters beneath the Tokyo Skytree. Financed by the world’s premier combat enthusiast, Mitsunari Tokugawa, the project successfully clones and resurrects the legendary historical swordsman Musashi Miyamoto. Known as the peerless “sword saint,” Miyamoto’s arrival in modern-day Japan throws the world into a state of crisis, naturally drawing the attention of humanity’s fiercest underground fighters—warriors who live solely for the thrill of battle.

Alongside the premiere date, Netflix revealed a striking new key visual featuring Baki Hanma, the prehistoric giant Pickle, Kaoru Hanayama, and the classical martial artist Izo Motobe standing against Miyamoto. The backdrop features Chisougahara (the “Plain of Feasts”), a lavish banquet symbolizing Musashi’s unique ability to judge his opponents’ strength by the metaphorical “value” they bring to his blade.

Looking Back at the English Dub Cast

While Netflix and TMS Entertainment have not formally announced the English dub cast list for Part 2 ahead of its June release, the streaming giant traditionally launches its major anime titles with multi-language audio tracks simultaneously.

Because the Baki franchise has maintained strong continuity across its multi-season run on Netflix, fans can likely expect the returning veteran English voice cast to reprise their iconic roles. For reference, the recurring English-language voice cast from the previous mainline entries (Baki and Baki Hanma) includes:

  • Baki Hanma: Voiced by Troy Baker (The Last of Us, Bioshock Infinite), who has anchored the English dub as the titular underground arena champion.

  • Yujiro Hanma: Voiced by Kirk Thornton, bringing a menacing presence to the “Strongest Creature on Earth” and Baki’s ultimate rival father.

  • Doppo Orochi: Voiced by Steve Blum, portraying the legendary head of Shinshinkai Karate.

  • Kaoru Hanayama: Voiced by Kaiji Tang, lending his deep tones to the fiercely loyal, stone-faced Yakuza boss.

  • Kaiou Retsu (Sea King Retsu): Voiced by Bob Carter, capturing the disciplined Chinese Kenpo master.

  • Mitsunari Tokugawa: Voiced by Mick Wingert, playing the eccentric, billionaire underground arena organizer who sets the entire clone plot into motion.

If Netflix follows its standard release pattern, these seasoned voice actors will once again step into the recording booth to face off against the newly resurrected Musashi Miyamoto this June.
