Aces Of Justice Launches On YouTube
In a major win for the independent animation scene, the anime-inspired action series Aces of Justice has officially completed its first season. The milestone was marked by the release of its sixth episode on YouTube, concluding a debut run that has successfully built a dedicated online following outside the traditional studio system.
An Independent Powerhouse
Created by Dylan Hobor, Aces of Justice is a testament to the power of modern digital tools, which have allowed independent creators to produce high-quality, long-form storytelling once reserved for major networks. The series follows an elite team of fighters navigating a stylized universe filled with escalating threats, internal friction, and complex moral dilemmas. Voice actor Matthew Stratton has been tapped in the lead role to help bring the characters to life.
Style and Substance
The series has garnered attention for its unique aesthetic, which blends high-energy combat and cinematic pacing whilst reimagining the “elite team” dynamic for a modern audience. The production utilized contemporary 2D and digital workflows to achieve a polished look on an independent budget.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
