Oh My God, They’re In Fortnite! South Park Crossover Reportedly Coming Soon
The multiverse of Fortnite is about to get a lot more foul-mouthed. Following the high-profile arrival of The Simpsons earlier this year, new reports and datamined leaks suggest that the residents of Colorado’s most famous mountain town, South Park, are officially heading to the Island.
According to prominent Fortnite leakers, the collaboration isn’t just a simple character skin drop; it appears to be a full-scale event complete with its own dedicated rewards system.
For fans of Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny, the most exciting part of the leak is the mention of an Event Pass (commonly referred to by the community as a “Mini Pass”). Similar to previous collaborations with Star Wars, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Pirates of the Caribbean, this pass will likely feature a free track and a premium track, allowing players to unlock a variety of South Park-themed cosmetics by completing specific in-game challenges.
Dataminers, including the well-known insider Wenso, discovered files codenamed “HoneyFiber.” Specifically, an item associated with a “Kenny boss” drop suggests that players might have to face off against (or perhaps accidentally kill) Kenny during a match to earn special loot.
One of the biggest questions surrounding a South Park crossover is how the characters will actually look. Fortnite characters need to maintain a consistent “hitbox” to ensure competitive fairness, which makes the short, squat children of South Park a technical challenge.
Rumors suggest Epic Games will employ the same strategy used for Bart and Lisa Simpson: Mechs. Rather than scaling the children up to adult height—which would look haunting—the characters will reportedly be seated inside adult-sized mechanical suits or exoskeletons. This allows them to keep their iconic proportions while fitting the gameplay requirements of a third-person shooter.
Beyond the skins, the leaks point to several other thematic additions:
-
The Battle Bus: The iconic blue bus is expected to be replaced by the yellow South Park school bus for the duration of the event.
-
The Map: With Chapter 7’s “Hollywood” theme currently in full swing, a small “South Park” Point of Interest (POI) or landmark wouldn’t be out of the question.
-
The Comedy: Given South Park’s “TV-MA” nature and Fortnite’s “Teen” rating, fans are curious to see how Epic handles the humor. While the characters will likely be toned down, their signature attitudes are expected to remain intact through Emotes and Back Blings.
Part of a Star-Studded Season
This crossover comes during one of Fortnite’s most ambitious seasons to date. Since the launch of Chapter 7, Epic has integrated properties like Kill Bill and Back to the Future, with stars like Kim Kardashian and Playboi Carti also slated for appearances.
While Epic Games has yet to officially confirm the South Park collaboration, the presence of specific assets in the game files suggests that the citizens of South Park will be dropping out of the Battle Bus sooner rather than later.
Keep your V-Bucks ready—and maybe keep an eye on Kenny.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
