English Dub Review: With You, Our Love Will Make It Through “Episode 8”

Overview:

Mari and Tsunagu spend some time together in the town of beastfolk.

Our Take(Spoilers):

I felt like I missed something because I knew that Mari and Tsunagu were hanging out in the beastfolk town. But I thought they were going to do homework or something and umm… I suppose they did in a way. First, Kisara took Mari away, and I was expecting to hate her, but it turns out she just didn’t think that Mari was genuine in her feelings. Now she knows how much Mari cares about Tsunagu, and while she may be jealous and hurt, she doesn’t hate Mari anymore. They were interrupted by two beastfolk who assaulted Mari and Kisara.

Tsunagu, of course, intervened and helped, and then Mari, and he went back to his house. The parents weren’t home, and Tsunagu put on a muzzle, and they proceeded to do something I wasn’t prepared for. Tsunagu started to take off Mari’s clothes. It didn’t go where you would think, though; it was almost like he was trying to see if he could control himself around her scent. It caught me a bit off guard because I wasn’t expecting that, and I was a little disappointed that we didn’t get to see Tsunagu’s parents.
