Shin-Chan Gets English Dub Physical Release
In recent news, despite Funimation no longer existing since they merged with Crunchyroll, the English dub they did for the Adult Swim series “Shin Chan” is getting an official Blu-Ray re-release by Discotek Media. And can be purchased here on Amazon for $48.99.
However, I can’t say the same for the 3 shows that were recently removed from Crunchyroll’s digital library. Claymore, Death Parade, and 91 Days.
Our Take
It remains uncertain what else could be removed, or if any other anime companies will pick up these particular shows. But if you love your entertainment, I say continue to support physical media before it all becomes lost media…
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
