English Dub Review: New Saga “Duel”

Overview:

The demons agree to formally duel Kyle’s party for the holy sword and information.

Our Take:

If I were Theron, I would be kind of pissed at Kyle, too. Sure, he trusts his friend to be able to win his part of the duel, but if I had just laid my hands on a holy sword I’d been looking for, I wouldn’t want to give it up. Kyle asks for a duel with demons, and if the demons win, then they get the holy sword. If Kyle’s group wins, they get all the information on demons they want, but I wouldn’t trust the information regardless.

Liese and Urza weren’t happy with how they performed against the demon, Yuriga, so they put in some training time in the three days. Kyle asked Gazus to make him something with the huge amounts of mithril he found. We haven’t been able to see what it is yet, so I imagine it will be something that is instrumental in his duel. But what I want to shout out is how well Liese and Urza worked together in their duel with Yuriga. Their fight seems far from over, but Liese used her brains as well as her fists in a fascinating way, in unison with Urza’s golem she summoned.
