Review: Bob’s Burgers “The Shell Game”

Bob competes in a competition to inherit Mr. Fischoeder’s 100-year-old tortoise.
Our Take
Will Forte voiced a tortoise in the series Housebroken which aired on FOX for a few seasons which has nothing to do with this week’s episode of Bob’s Burgers other than the fact that there is also an animated tortoise but he isn’t voiced by anybody because he stays mostly quiet.
We DO get guest contributions from the likes of John Oliver, Joe Pera, and Zach Galifianakis so it’s not all bad except for the fact that this episode does indeed move at a tortoise’s pace and does so with dialogue that’s pretty tame and a plot that’s kind of all over the place. I typically enjoy Fischoeder episodes but this one didn’t do anything for me and having events or banquets run by Calvin seems to be an increasingly common trope of which there are funnier examples of than this one.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
