Netflix has released the official trailer for the highly anticipated animated adult comedy, “Long Story Short,” and in a significant show of confidence, has already confirmed a second season for the series. This early renewal comes even before the show’s premiere, which is slated for August 22.

Created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg, the mastermind behind the critically acclaimed “BoJack Horseman,” “Long Story Short” promises a unique comedic take on family dynamics over time. Lisa Hanawalt, a frequent collaborator with Bob-Waksberg, serves as supervising producer on the project.

Bob-Waksberg expressed his excitement about the pre-emptive renewal, quipping, “Wow!! A Season 2?! And Season 1 hasn’t even come out yet! It must be a really good show.” The series is described as an animated comedy that chronicles the lives of the Schwooper siblings through various points in their lives, hinting at a sprawling and humorous exploration of a single family’s journey.
