English Dub Review: The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows “The End of Adventure”

Overview:

A rampaging golem threatens the slums as Zenos is forced to organize a resistance.

Our Take(Spoilers):

We finally get to see Zenos show off a little bit. We’ve seen him heal people easily, but how else was he helping Aston’s party? He can buff the girls while they are fighting the rampaging golem and make them stronger and faster. What made this fight play out interestingly is that Aston is at the heart of the golem. He is essentially the golem, and it looked like this was going to be his death.

With Zenos being the guy he is, he couldn’t let Aston die like that. He was able to cut him loose and heal him the whole time. During the fight, Aston was able to see how much Zenos did for them during a fight. Sometimes all we need is a little perspective to finally put things into place. Of course, Aston himself has a sad backstory about a sick sister, and that’s why he’s greedy when it comes to money. But somewhere along the way, he became disillusioned and started missing the point. In the end, Zenos left him with the same thing Aston gave him. A gold coin and a fresh start. After everything he’s done, I don’t think he could ask for more.
