English Dub Review: 2.5 Dimensional Seduction “Cosplay Group Potential?”

Overview:

Mikari is a new student at school, and all the boys are crazy for her since she’s a model. She also happens to be Okumura’s childhood friend.

Our Take:

Now things are getting a little interesting. Okumura is already starting to think of Ririsa when he thinks of a girl instead of his beloved Liliel. But now we have a bigger wrinkle in the new transfer student, Mikari. She has been in love with Okumura since they were kids, and I thought she would be annoying, but one scene stood out. When she was younger and first getting into modeling, she was told to forget about Okumura. She refused because that’s what a 3-D girl would do, and she wouldn’t dare betray him like that.

I think we all know that Ririsa is firmly in the lead, at least when it comes to rom-com rules. The first girl introduced almost always wins. But I have to say that I am leaning towards rooting for Mikari after only one episode with her. She’s honest about her feelings for the most part, but I wonder how she’s going to join the cosplay gang. After seeing Ririsa in her Liliel cosplay, I imagine her reaction won’t be great at first.
