Following the high-stakes chaos from the previous episode, the episode delivers an explosive confrontation that finally brings the arc’s long-awaited intensity. It’s clear they pulled out all the stops for this fight between JinWoo and the Black Ant King.
The voice acting also shines here, giving the antagonist a surprisingly compelling edge and otherworldly voice, which the Dub helps excellently convey emotion. The pacing is tight, the action is relentless, and the animation work remains consistently good, with particular attention to detail.
Overall, this was one of the season’s most intense and exhilarating episodes. The buildup paid off with a clash that delivered both scale and substance, and despite the occasional pacing issues, the sheer hype factor more than made up for it. With only one episode left, the series has set the stage for a dramatic finale, and if this momentum holds, it may go down as one of the most memorable anime climaxes in recent years.
