English Dub Review: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? “(Astrea Record) Inheritance”;“(Revenge) Counterattack”
Overview:
Defeat is imminent. As the allied army falls, they need a miracle to win. But just as all hope fades, a gale-force wind begins to howl.
Unexpected reinforcements and a sudden betrayal have turned the tide of battle. The allied army now has a chance at victory, but they must fight tooth and nail to seize it.
Our Take:
You might be asking if it was worth the wait for this series to come back and I can assure you that yes it was. We’re deep into the war game now and nothing is going as expected. I thought Bell was telling Lily about someone potentially betraying them, but it turns out that he had a feeling that Heiden would turn his back on the Freya familia during the war game. Without his help, I’m not sure they would have a chance even with Ryuu joining the battle.
I have to ask, is every waitress that works with Mamma Mia a secret badass? Even Anya the cat girl has joined in and she seems to be pretty powerful. Not only that, but Loki was working behind the scenes to get Mamma Mia to break her vow to Freya and fight.
The only thing I’m torn on from these episodes is Ryuu’s love confession to Bell. When she decided to do it before a big fight, I was against it, but luckily Bell got embarrassed, but then quickly moved on. We don’t see that often in anime, and I have to say that Ais’s presence in the show has been practically non-existent, so I might start supporting Ryuu because she at least has a lot of screen time.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
