Our Take


This episode while very dialouge-heavy, focuses on preparations against the Witch Cult, setting the stage for what’s to come in the second half of the season. It was an emotional ride, especially with Crusch’s ongoing struggles and the weight of her situation. The episode also highlighted the efforts of characters like Ferris, who may feel demoralized but continue to fight for their allies. There was a strong sense of resolve among the characters, which adds to the anticipation for the next phase of the story.

One of the most impactful moments was a key confrontation where a character stood their ground, showing remarkable courage and determination. The balance of tension and humor worked well in this episode, with unexpected moments of much needed levity which helped balance out the intensity. And much of that well timed cliffhanger really knew how to keep things exciting…

Overall, this episode really set the stage for something bigger to come. However upon research, this is supposed to be the Mid-Season finale and it ended on one hell of a high note. But sadly as I’m typing this, we won’t get to see more episodes at least until later in February 2025 which hopefully will be worth it.
