Report: Peacock Buys “The Nerd Table” Animated Series
In a report filed today from Deadline for an upcoming live-action sitcom being produced for CBS called Token White Friends, we have learned that the same producers for that series, Josh Greenberg (Not Dead Yet), Jordan Black (The Wonder Years) and Jon Haller (30 Rock) have recently sold an animated comedy series with Will Glick producing called The Nerd Table.
Not much is known about the series other than the fact that it is an animated series based on the trio’s nerdy 90s childhoods and that the show has been sold to Peacock with Universal also producing.
More as it develops, but former Netflix exec Mike Moon has been quiet over at Peacock since his move, hopefully this is the start of a busy year for the affluent producer.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
