The Roku Channel Dates Doomlands Season Two
The Roku Channel has announced a September 3rd start date for Doomlands season two with five episodes on the way.
It has been over two years since Roku Channel’s Doomlands was renewed for a second season, the adult animated sitcom that was originally commissioned for Quibi before it was sent to Roku Channel, comes from Josh O’Keefe and features Mark Little (Gary and His Demons) in the lead role.
Synopsis:
The infamous Danny Doom and aspiring bartender Lhandi sling beers across a hellish wasteland in their mobile pub, The Oasis; facing desert gangs, creeps and bathroom graffiti, all the crew needs to do to survive is not kill each other.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
