Our Take

This week’s episode takes place in a hot springs town, making it incredibly funny and entertaining from start to finish. Many characters find themselves in the same location, leading to plenty of humorous interactions and one-liners, making this my favorite episode so far. The relaxed and chill atmosphere allows for a more in-depth exploration of the characters’ feelings and personalities, providing a nice contrast to the more intense episodes of the past few weeks.

Flio and Rys win a Hot Springs vacation ticket, bringing everyone to the hot springs resort. Initially, Rys seems disappointed about not having alone time with Flio but becomes excited upon hearing about the Fertility Spring. Meanwhile, the Demon King’s army executives also arrive at the resort. As the characters enjoy the hot springs, various comedic and awkward situations unfold, including Hiya’s inappropriate advances towards Damalynas and Byleri’s adventures in the “Love Hot Springs.” complete with action-packed moments as the heroes and villains prepare for a final battle…

Overall, this episode was a delightful mix of wacky comedy and characterization. The randomness of each character’s solo activities added fun to the proceedings, even though it deviated from the usual group dynamics. The animation and storytelling continue to impress, and with one episode left, I look forward to seeing how it all ends, despite the chaos.
