English Dub Review: Classroom of the Elite “We never forget what we endeavor to forget.”

Overview:

While Class C are discussing Karuizawa and Hirata’s break up Yamauchi is approached by Sakayanagi from Class A. Horikita warns that it’s a trap, but Yamauchi pays it no heed. Meanwhile, Horikita tells Ayanokoji that rumors are swirling around Ichinose.

Our Take:

This is where this show tends to succeed, in the beginnings of an arc it gets really interesting. There are rumors swirling about all sorts of people and while it’s unclear now I have a feeling that this is going to be a fun arc. As I’ve mentioned before I love smart characters and getting to see all the mind games getting played is a real joy but last season when Ayanokoji had that big fight scene it made me want to see more action cause that boy can rumble.

The only thing that was a little weird to me was how much Karuizawa and Hirata’s break up was discussed. I was under the impression that was old news but people were bringing it up like it just happened. I’m not sure where this arc is going to go but with all the rumors swirling and plenty of backroom deals being made I’m sure it will be fun.
