Submersed: Watch The Short Film Trailer
You may recall a Kickstarter campaign we had as part of our “Kick List” feature called Submersed which successfully raised enough money to produce the start of what we have before you right here, an indie sci-fi animated short film coming 2023 directed by Ector Troncoso called Submersed.
Submersed follows Audre, Jean-Luc, and George, the crew of the research submersible Athena I, as they embark on an expedition across an uncharted ocean planet. When the crew is tempted to venture off course, they find themselves surrounded by oceanic mystery, horrifying discoveries, and frustrations with each other that they cannot escape.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
