“Ho Yeah!”: FOX’s Animated Matriarchs Invade the ‘Fortnite’ Island

Just in time for Mother’s Day, Epic Games is proving that no one carries a squad quite like a TV mom. In a surprise collaboration announced on May 8, 2026, three of FOX’s most iconic animated matriarchs—Peggy Hill, Lois Griffin, and Linda Belcher—have officially joined the Fortnite roster.

The “Animated Moms” set dropped in the Item Shop tonight, allowing players to head into Battle Royale as the backbone of Arlen, Quahog, and Seymour’s Bay.

Meet the Squad: The New Skins

The crossover features high-fidelity cel-shaded models that bring the unique art styles of King of the Hill, Family Guy, and Bob’s Burgers into the 3D world of Fortnite.

  • Peggy Hill (King of the Hill): The substitute teacher of the year arrives ready to educate the competition. Fans are already speculating that her “Boggle” skills might translate into a unique back bling or emote.

  • Lois Griffin (Family Guy): Following the massive success of the Peter Griffin skin in late 2023, Lois joins the fray. Her inclusion rounds out the Griffin family presence on the island.

  • Linda Belcher (Bob’s Burgers): Armed with her signature “Alriiight!” energy, Linda brings the warmth (and chaos) of the Belcher kitchen to the battlefield.

Cosmetics and More

While a gameplay trailer showcased the trio in action, Epic has kept specific bundle details under wraps. However, typical for Fortnite collaborations of this scale, players can expect:

  • Themed Back Bling: Rumored items include a spatula for Linda and a jug of Alamo Beer (or perhaps a “Substitute Teacher of the Year” trophy) for Peggy.

  • Emotes: Fans are crossing their fingers for a Linda Belcher “Happy Birthday” song or a Lois Griffin “Peter!” shout.

  • Pickaxes: Potential harvesting tools could include a grill scraper or a rolled-up newspaper.

A Growing Partnership

This collaboration marks a continued deepening of the relationship between Epic Games and Disney-owned properties (which include the FOX/Hulu animation catalogs). It follows a massive wave of recent crossovers featuring Star Wars, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and various Pixar characters.

By releasing the skins ahead of Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 10), Epic is tapping into the cultural nostalgia of “Adult Swim” and “Animation Domination” fans. Whether you’re looking to hit a “griddy” as Peggy Hill or protect your teammates as Linda Belcher, the island just got a whole lot more parental.
