English Dub Review: The Aristocrat’s Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far “The Trials of an A-Rank Adventurer”
Overview:
Cain has to complete a specific quest to move up to A-rank.
Our Take:
Now that Cain’s back from his training, he has a quest to complete. He has to take care of a group of bandits in order to be promoted to A-rank. He does so quickly of course, but more importantly, he runs into Nina and Milly for the first time in years.
They all catch up at the guild hall and they also run into Claude and Rina. We learn that Claude is Milly’s older brother, which makes a lot of sense. Cain said that Claude reminded him of someone, so this adds up.
The adventurers then volunteer to be guest instructors for Cain’s class. They want to help Cain impress his classmates so he won’t be so much of an outcast, but that doesn’t pan out. Cain then goes on a rampage to blow off steam and causes another false alarm in the kingdom.
This is a fun episode. I won’t complain about seeing Nina and Milly again and I’ve come to like Rina a bit as well. The adventurers all have funny moments in the episode. I kind of wanted their plan to have Cain impress his classmates succeed, but the result was still entertaining. Besides, Cain didn’t do himself any favors by causing so much damage during the entrance exams.
We also get a little peak at Aaron at the end of the episode. That means the battle between him and Cain is sure to take place any minute. That might be interesting, so I’m curious to say where this will go.
