Based on Daisuke Aizawa’s hilarious isekai light novel series of the same name, The Eminence in Shadow first premiered last fall on HIDIVE. The fantasy-action series quickly gained popularity with fans as well as garnered media praise including “Next Isekai Hit” (CBR.com) and “Anime Sleeper Hit” (Collider). The 2nd Season promises to deliver The Eminence in Shadow’s unique isekai mix of fantasy, action and humor that fans have come to adore — transporting audiences seamlessly back into the world of the Shadow Garden as if they never left…
Everything has been going according to plan, but the hour of awakening draws near. Cid Kageno and Shadow Garden investigate the Lawless City, a cesspool where the red moon hangs low in the sky and three powerful monarchs rule the streets. The true draw for Cid, however, is one who can draw blood–the Blood Queen, a vampire who has slumbered in her coffin for eons. Her awakening approaches, and Cid could finally face a day of reckoning.
The Eminence in Shadow returns this October for its exciting second season.
Toei Animation has revealed plans to host a major “One Piece” celebration as the headline event of its Anime Expo programming schedule this year. “One Piece” premiered on October 20, 1999 and has been continuously entertaining anime fans around the world for now more than 23 years.
This coming July 2nd, in celebration of the new English dub of One Piece approaching the milestone 1000 episodes, Toei Animation and Crunchyroll will be co-hosting the special event, “One Piece Episode 1000 Dub World Premiere” during Anime Expo 2023.
On top of the 1000th dub episode screening, this specially produced celebration will feature a variety of fan experiences including an autographic signing session with dub actors Ian Sinclair, Patrick Sietz and Sonny Strait, a live drawing showcase and Q&A with Japanese “One Piece” animators, a Luffy & Shanks statue display, a ONE PIECE CARD GAME demo, One Piece Odyssey demo stations and much more.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
