English Dub Review: The Legendary Hero is Dead! “The Legendary Hero Is Dead?!”

Overview:

Touka Scott doesn’t care much about the devils supposedly ravaging the world… until a visit from the legendary hero changes everything.

Our Take:

Not really a spoiler because it’s in the title but the legendary hero went out fast. Not only that but how he went out was both funny and sad. I don’t really know much about this series but it seems like it could be pretty fun and has a unique premise. Touka being forced to be in the body of the hero to get his body back could lead to some funny hijinks even if the reasoning is a little bad.

I love Ricco Fajardo and another lead for him is always great but I don’t know about this character. He seems like the typical pervy protagonist just he’s more obsessed with women’s thighs than other parts which is… different I guess?

We’re only one episode in but there are a few things that I don’t like. The protagonist I mentioned isn’t great so far. The reason for him needing to be the hero is kind of lame the hero and his necromancer fell for a dumb trap so they think Touka is brilliant. Not only that but he is actually a corpse and smells dead, just doesn’t seem like it’s going to go well but time will tell.
