Adult Swim Announces Dethklok “Thunderhorse” Fan Jam Contest
A brand-new Metalocalypse feature-length film is in production right now and with that comes the ramping up of Dethklok and the new record purportedly being produced in conjunction with the series. Along with the news today that the band is reuniting for the Blue Ridge Rock Festival happening later this year, Adult Swim has announced that a new contest has arrived that will allow fans to contribute to a “Thunderhorse” Fan Jam. All you have to do is record an epic cover of Dethklok’s iconic track “Thunderhorse” and you could be featured in an upcoming fan video mashup. Get rules and submission details here.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
