English Dub Review: The Daily Life of the Immortal King “Wang Ling Wants To Lead A Quiet Life”

Fresh off of changing timelines and saving the world Wang Ling has to take a test to stay in his current class. This won’t go wrong at all right?
Our Take:
I was starting to get withdrawals from this show. But I can’t be too upset, as long as it took to get dubbed in the first place. Getting to the second season only a month or so after the first isn’t too bad, to be honest. I was wondering what could possibly happen after how the first season ended and I am really excited to see where Wang Ling and Sun Rong’s relationship goes.
What I am most excited about is to hopefully see Wang Ling show a little more humanity. A lot of times these overpowered protagonists tend to not really interact with people well and that was definitely the case for Wang Ling for most of the first season. But after his experience in the tournament and literally changing the world to save Sun Rong I think that might change soon. He even helped out one of his friends which wasn’t something I think he would do in the past. I am looking forward to seeing what happens this season.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
