Our Take(Spoilers):
This doesn’t stop going, I haven’t felt like I’ve been able to catch my breath with everything going on in each episode. This anime has become the highlight of my week for multiple reasons. I can usually write about it really quickly because it has just been that good and with it being that good it has been a blast to watch. I can’t think of the best way to describe how this anime makes me feel, it’s almost like I am watching a movie with the quality of it. I understand it’s a series but they really went all out with it and with how big a gap there was between the last episode of Bleach and this starting back up again it just feels perfect.
As for the episode itself, Ichigo finally makes his appearance in front of Yhwach but it might just be too late. Yamamoto is no more and Yhwach seems to be unstoppable, but the surprises don’t end there. I can’t recall how many times I actually felt my jaw drop while watching this episode. We know about Ichigo’s dad but to think he might have Quincy blood on his mom’s side was one of the more shocking reveals I’ve experienced in a while. If you are a shonen fan you have definitely been eating well this season between this and My Hero Academia I can’t think of a bad episode I’ve reviewed.
