Picking up from the previous episode, Daemons of the Shadow Realm delivers another tense installment, this time built around deception, shifting alliances, and clever counterattacks. Asa continues pursuing her own mission while hoping to reunite with Yuru, but several conflicts quickly escalate as the revealed Traitor makes his move and Shingo’s plans begin to unravel. Meanwhile, the Kagemoris reveal that they have been anticipating Akio’s betrayal, setting the stage for a confrontation filled with unexpected turns.

The episode’s biggest strength is its ability to balance action with strategy. Jin and the others demonstrate their preparedness, while Gabby easily steals the spotlight with her fierce determination to protect Asa. Gonzo also highlights just how dangerous the Kagemori clan can be, while Yuru once again proves how resourceful he is when placed in a difficult situation.
