Review: Beavis And Butt-Head “The Most Dangerous Game/Bone Hunters”

Overview

The Most Dangerous Game

In order to prevent the other from putting their hand in a bowl of warm water, causing them to pee their pants, Beavis and Butt-Head stay awake for several days. This battle doesn’t just take place at home, but at school as well where a victor is claimed, but PARAMOUNT DOESN’T SHOW THE END SCENE?

Bone Hunters

Beavis and Butt-Head construct a dinosaur skeleton out of bones from a BBQ and name it Bonersaurus for a chance to win $1 million. Eventually, the guys turn their dinosaur into an attraction and actually make some money showing it off, but the duo fight over the cash and ruin the dinosaur before their cash flies away.

Our Take

We end our return season on a high note with two great bits that worked well for similar reasons, pure stupidity. We don’t get a whole lot of cutaways this week, but the last one was not only the longest one yet, but probably best equipped to be an entire episode on its own.

One thing that really bothered me this week, we didn’t get to see an end scene of Beavis and Butt-Head peeing all over themselves, and in fact, also question the fact that Paramount+ tends to censor their series which is a problem for me. The idea of a streaming service is to go nuts, though, seeing as how this series was originally meant for Comedy Central, I can understand the decisions here. I just hope future episodes, now meant for streaming, can continue to push that envelope for years to come so that the show can truly branch out and go nuts.

We’re going to get into more detail in our season review being posted next week, but the return season of Beavis and Butt-Head, is overall, a huge success. More needs to be made, like today, and I’ll have a few ideas for the future of the franchise as well.
