Our Take:

I think the funniest thing about this show is how it doesn’t take itself seriously like at all. Now everyone is just on board with a frog demon being sealed inside a dog. Not only that but the school principal is even willing to possibly free him if he competes in this tournament. A dog competing in a tournament isn’t the weirdest thing we have seen in an anime but everyone’s reaction to it is what made it hilarious. Because the dog’s force power was so much higher than everyone else’s it led to some people getting ridiculed.

It stands to reason that for a tournament involving swords everyone would need a sword right? Even the dog has a sword, and a cell phone but we won’t get into that right now. There was only one person who we aren’t clear on them having a sword. You guessed it, Wang Ling, though if he doesn’t I feel it has less to do with him being worthy or anything like that and more just him being so lazy he doesn’t want to bother. I look forward to seeing his sword and how this tournament goes.
