English Dub Review: Shadows House “Potential Suspects”

Overview:

The Star Bearers have determined that the soot pipes are the origin of the phantoms. For now, in order to quell the disorder in the children’s wing, Barbara punishes the Belle twins, who broke the coffee carafes, by assigning them to clean the soot pipes. However, having been unable to ascertain the true culprit behind the incidents, the Star Bearers turn their suspicions on Kate.

Our Take:

Kate got brought to an inquisition and she said “Screw everyone here!” and basically told them she could do their job better than them. While she didn’t outright get their job they are basically giving her the opportunity to find whoever the culprit is in the coffee incident. But for some reason, they suspect Kate, so more than likely they are letting her attempt to find the culprit to prove her innocence.

I would definitely never want to get soot sickness. The way they “cure” people of it is terrifying, they just force water down their throats until they throw up all soot and water. I wasn’t a fan of the Belle twins, but I for one don’t think they did this willingly or deserve to be treated the way they are. That could be all because of my Alexis Tipton bias coming out though. I do love her and almost every character she voices so that could be why.
