English Dub Review: Don’t Hurt Me, My Healer! “The owner of the inn they visit seems very nice, but…”
Overview:
Alvin and Carla visit an inn, but Carla is suspicious about the owner. Later, they encounter an old woman while traveling.
Our Take:
Carla and Alvin go to stay at an inn, but Carla is suspicious of the owner. She upsets him by calling him a pig, but he turns out to be an orc. He hurts himself, Alvin asks Carla to heal him, but she asks to hear the orc’s intentions. She believes he eats his guests, but he actually heals them. Then in natural Carla fashion, she makes him feel bad for no reason.
Later, while the two are carrying medicinal herbs, they run into an old lady. She turns out to be a witch and has evil intentions, but Carla foils them at every turn. She wants to cook to repent for her actions and she makes a monster that makes the witch younger. Oh, and Altargaia returns too.
It’s really more of the same here. There are some funny moments, but a lot of jokes keep getting run into the ground. Carla’s not completely detestable in this episode, but her shtick is not amusing most of the time. Decent episode overall, but it’s pretty run of the mill for this show.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
