English Dub Review: Saiyuuki Reload: Zeroin “The Right to Life”

Overview:

The group has seen an abnormal amount of yellow eyes since their arrival in town. Since that color is proof that people were once dead, Hazel may be nearby.

Our Take:

I love it when hilariously bad lines get said. Everyone is discussing the morality of bringing someone back from the dead and Hakkai is talking about marrying a woman who doesn’t die when she’s killed. I feel like that was so bad it had to be intentional right? As far as the rest of the episode goes it was alright but the ending got me really intrigued for next time.

We got some Hazel backstory and he seems interested in whether Goke is touched by demons or something due to his yellow eyes. He seems to think if anything it’s all linked to his headband so that makes how this episode ended all the more interesting. All I know is that I hope everything works out because Sanzo doesn’t seem like the type to calmly handle a situation like the one he finds himself in.
