Adult Swim Dates Tuca & Bertie Season Two
Adult Swim has announced a June 13th @ 1130 pm ET/PT start date for the second season of Tuca & Bertie. Tuca & Bertie is an American adult animated sitcom created by cartoonist Lisa Hanawalt that began streaming on Netflix in 2019. It stars Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong, with a supporting cast including Steven Yeun, John Early, Richard E. Grant, and Reggie Watts. The series was canceled only a few months after the show premiered but was picked up for a second season in 2020 by Adult Swim.
According to Variety who broke the announcement:
The 10-episode second season will see Bertie trying to excavate her “inner ghouls” with the help of a therapist, while Tuca “prefers to stuff hers behind the toilet,” the network previews. While she may get to them later, her priority is trying to find someone to date. Meanwhile, Speckle (Steven Yeun) is busy building a new house, but soon finds he’s driven to the brink of insanity.
The Shadowmachine-animated series is produced by Tornante Productions and features Raphael Bob-Waksberg, Noel Bright, Steven A. Cohen as producers alongside Hanawalt, Haddish, and Wong.

Adult Swim is slowly building up it’s Summer Sunday Night line-up with Rick and Morty also returning on June 20th, so it will be interesting to see if the network continues to do anything with that Midnight ET/PT lineup moving forward as they have all year.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
