Adult Swim Changes “Final Space” Season Three Time-Slot

Piggybacking off of the other day’s report that the future of Final Space looks murky, it appears Adult Swim is pretty close to a decision based upon this very quiet announcement that not only has the network made additional schedule changes to the Toonami lineup, it appears Final Space will be taking the 1230 am ET/PT slot starting on June 6th with brand-new episodes (the final two, anyway). On Sunday, June 13th, @ 1130 pm ET, Adult Swim kicks off the second season of Tuca & Bertie the same day Final Space season three’s finale drops.

Final Space hasn’t had any marketing for the majority for it’s run, so if this is the show’s end, par for the course, am I right?

A new episode of Final Space premieres on May 29th @ 1030 pm ET/PT, check your local listings for all aforementioned episodes. The only streaming hopes are for international subscribers of Netflix who are expected to get the entirety of the show’s third season, dubbed in different languages, sometime this Summer.

Synopsis:

In the midst of working off a prison sentence, an astronaut named Gary meets mysterious, planet-destroying alien Mooncake, with whom he immediately bonds. But Gary doesn’t realize that his new sidekick is actually in demand by the sinister Lord Commander, who will do all he can to secure Mooncake’s untapped evil powers. This animated intergalactic comedy follows Gary and Mooncake’s adventures to unlock the mystery of “Final Space,” where the universe ends.
