English Dub Review: Noblesse “Dangerous Man/LOVEPARADE”

Overview

A new character enters the scene by the name of Rael who arrives at Ye Ran High School to collect Seira per the Lord’s order, but he encounters M-12, Tao, and Takio there, and a fight breaks out, while Seira tries to persuade Rael to leave, but Rael continues to do as he pleases. For the sake of protecting Raizel, Frankenstein can’t just stand by and let these violet proceedings carry-on..

Our Take

For a relatively new antagonist, Rael seems too aggressive and edgy and not in a good way. He doesn’t even understand why Seira won’t reciprocate those feelings towards him. As a result, he’s fueled by his emotions in the worst ways imaginable, but it remains to be seen if he’ll get actual character development sooner or later. Still, kind of had awkward animations in the battles but at least Frank’s “dark spear” power and his craziness were some of the major highlights that were too awesome to not get pumped over.

I’m also curious if one of those orders was presented to Raizel, would he have to comply or does he have a special status or maybe it’s dependent on which Lord he formed a contract with or something? The music was on point in this episode. The fight could have been longer and less of a see-saw of power boosts. While the pacing is still good, for some reason, I wasn’t that invested in the battles this episode, and that might be an issue with the storytelling thus far.

This was another decent episode that sets up new stakes and a goal for this new story-arc as it looks like the goal was still on point, made Seira without any resistance, willing to be back to her and Rael’s homeland, as soon as the letter has been revealed. It triggered Rai to return, to fulfilled Raskreia’s wish, and with two episodes left, I’m really Looking forward to the gang making a visit to Lukedonia.
