Funimation Acquires All 26 English Dubbed Episodes Of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
Originally airing on Adult Swim earlier this year, Funimation has acquired the streaming rights for all 26 episodes of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba in all of it’s English dub glory. Availability kicks off on December 8th @ 3 pm CT which is timely because currently the new feature-length entitled Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train has made well over 100 million yen and is slated to hit Funimation Films in 2021, whether or not THAT will be English dubbed is anyone’s guess, but we are hoping so.
The anime is directed by Haruo Sotozaki, with scripts by the Ufotable staff. Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina are the anime’s composers, and Akira Matsushima is the character designer. Hikaru Kondo is the producer of the anime adaptation of a franchise that has garnered $2.6 billion to date.

Synopsis:

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
