FOX Entertainment Developing Animated Series With Dan Harmon In New Exclusive Deal
Dan Harmon has signed an exclusive deal to produce a primetime animated series that will premiere in 2022 as part of a new broadcast network-only exclusive direct animation deal with Fox Entertainment. Bento Box Entertainment will produce the animated comedy series and it will be the first FOX Entertainment series to be fully produced by the new company since the split with Disney.
The deal comes as Dan is starting to venture out into greener pastures after departing Starburns Industries and helping make Rick and Morty the super success it is today. Dan was most recently attached to a pilot for Little Demon for FX Networks.
If you’re counting at home, FOX Entertainment is now working with three Rick and Morty producers, the Solar Opposites team Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan, and now Dan Harmon. This continues a big push for FOX who not only features a strong Animation Domination lineup in The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, and Family Guy, but new series like Bless the Harts, Duncanville, and upcoming series like The Great North and Housebroken.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
