Pamela Adlon Reprises Her “Bobby Hill” Voice From “King of the Hill” On “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon”
All this talk about who can voice who in animation is horseshit because if everyone voiced who they were supposed to voice we would not have had Pamela Adlon’s legendary take on “Bobby Hill” via King of the Hill. Just in case you’re too young enough to remember Bobby is derived from the classic animated series King of the Hill which aired for 13 seasons on FOX. Despite this, the Mike Judge-created series still gets regular syndication and streaming opportunities from the likes of Adult Swim, Hulu, and more.
Recently, Pamela Adlon dropped by The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon where she reprised her role as “Bobby” that you can watch with immense delight below.
King of the Hill is an American adult animated sitcom created by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels for the Fox Broadcasting Company that ran from January 12, 1997, to May 6, 2010. It centers on the Hills, a middle-class American family in the fictional city of Arlen, Texas. Set in Texas, the series follows the life of propane salesman Hank Hill, who lives with his substitute-teacher wife Peggy, wannabe comedian son Bobby, and deadbeat niece Luanne. Hank has strikingly stereotypical views about God and country but is unpretentious and sees the world simply.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
