Adult Swim Announces Events For Ballmastrz: 9009 & Genndy Tartakovsky Coming Later This Month

With Mike Tyson Mysteries having wrapped last weekend, focus is now on the second season of Ballmastrz: 9009 which premieres this Sunday Night only on Adult Swim. And not only is the network doing a live event to help promote the series, but the network has announced that there will be accompanying Adult Swim Streams programming to go along with it in the form of the Ballmastrz: 9009 Crayzar’s Crazy Prize Wheel Premier Phone Party which is happening at both 1130 pm and 1230 pm ET on Adult Swim Streams.
For those that don’t know, Crayzar is the ruler of the new world who created the Game to please humanity. He has lived for thousands of years and lacks any sort of genitalia, as he is implied to be some type of artificial lifeform. He has lived through the Rad Wars and gave life to all the game balls, which were originally used as weapons in the Rad Wars. He seemingly admires the Leptons, but after Ace and Baby Ball’s fusion, might have ulterior motives. Crayzar is voiced by show creator Christy Karacas.
In Ballmastrz: 9009, the Leptons are back! After ‘the burning spirit of teamwork in their hearts’ inspired the offbeat oddballs to win their first game, they’re actually showing moments of non-suckage! Led by Gaz Digzy and supercharged by the awesome power of Ballmastr, the team wrestle new foes as they claw their way to the top. Will the Leptons continue to surprise fans and reach their ultimate goal: a chance to play for the coveted Crazyar Cup in the Grand Championship? Or will the seductive distractions of newfound fame sideline them for good? Grab your ballz and find out in Season 2 of Ballmastrz: 9009! The quarter-hour animated series is created by Christy Karacas (Superjail!) and produced by Titmouse.
Natasha Lyonne (Orange is the New Black) stars as the voice of Gaz Digzy along with Dana Snyder (Aqua Teen Hunger Force), Dave Willis (Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell), Jessica DiCicco (The Loud House), Eric Bauza (Unikitty!), and Karacas. Sunday Night’s premiere episode sees Cree Summer, Rachel Dratch, and Jo Firestone as guest stars in a half-hour premiere with episodes entitled “Infinite Hugs: Cold Embrace of the Bloodless Progenitors!” and “Shameful Disease of Yackety Yack! Don’t Talk Back! Be Silenced Forever!”. In the first episode premiering @ Midnight ET/PT, when Ace gets depressed because he has no family to share the joy of his new fame in the game with, Gaz and Babyball make him one. Then, at 12:15 am ET/PT, when Gaz catches an embarrassing sexually transmitted disease, the Leptons must find the cure before a very important public appearance.
Adult Swim will be well-represented at the upcoming C2E2 event on February 29th. Just announced, Genndy Tartakovsky will be there for a retrospective panel to discuss his illustrious career with such projects as Samurai Jack and Primal. See below for details on the upcoming event.
Genndy is currently in production for the second half of Primal Season One. A second season has not been announced for pickup as of this writing. Read our review for the first half of Primal here.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
