Music News: “Final Space” ; “Venture Bros.”

A new holiday song inspired by The Venture Bros.  has been released and you can get it here. In fact, all of the music from the Venture Bros. final seasons are made available from the link that I’m only half-sure is legal. I believe this is more or less a signal boost in an attempt to contribute to show voice actor Ken Plume’s Patreon so feel free to leave a buck if you feel obliged.

In Venture Bros., “Jonny Quest” gets an irreverent but affectionate spoofing in this animated series chronicling the sometimes hair-raising adventures of Hank and Dean Venture, the not-especially-bright twin sons of pill-popping “super-scientist” Dr. Thaddeus “Rusty” Venture. Luckily (for the most part), their safety is overseen by a security guard who uses his license to kill every chance he gets.

In other music news, the Final Space Season One soundtrack has a name…”Lost Songs”. Fans can listen to the first track from the record on season one composer Jake Sidwell’s Soundcloud which you can link to here. The track listed is a 30-second orchestral piece as composed by Sidwell.

Final Space is created by YouTube sensation, Olan Rogers, and Emmy award-winner David Sacks (The Simpsons). Rogers stars in the animated series with Fred Armisen (Portlandia), Tom Kenny (Adventure Time), David Tennant (Dr. Who), Tika Sumpter (Mixed-ish), and Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead). The half-hour animated space action/adventure series is produced by Conaco and New Form, with animation production by ShadowMachine.
