Long Time Animation Producer J. Michael Mendel Passes Away At Age 54
We are saddened to learn of the recent passing of longtime animation producer J. Michael Mendel. Mr. Mendel was a long time producer having made NUMEROUS stops on such series as Rick and Morty, The Simpsons, The Critic, and a SLEW of other adult animated series. Mike passed away at the age of 54 and we send our condolences to his family at this time.
Al Jean posted this photo of Mike with one of the earliest writer’s rooms compiled for The Simpsons.
