RWBY Enters the World of Funko!
Their release date will be the day you’re waiting for!
In Funko’s quest to overtake the world with super deformed versions of literally every person both real and fictional, they have now conscripted the titular team RWBY from the popular Rooster Teeth animated series of the same name. Through an announcement on their blog yesterday, Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long will be the first of likely many RWBY characters to get the Funko treatment. No date of release has been set as of this writing, but the figures are already standing out in certain specifications, such as Ruby’s silver eye buttons and Blake’s signature scowl. At the very least, whenever they get around to making that Funko movie, maybe this means that these girls will get to cameo.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
