Review: Turbo Fantasy “Gritty Reboot”
Reboot this!
Overview
When Turbo opts for a refreshed look, that looks of a frog, he nearly dies but so does Colin so I guess it evens out? Fortunately, Gregg is able to save Turbo before any real damage can be done, but Colin needs a lift to the hospital in the worst way possible.
Our Take
You can’t do a series nowadays about a superhero that’s meant to spoof other heroes without doing one about reboots. As I’m writing this, I’m working on PS4’s Spider-Man, a character that has been rebooted more times than my MacBook in both film and animated television. The best part of this week’s episode was by far Colin getting his face seared off which should act as some sort of comeuppance for a character that regularly wants to see the worst of Turbo.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
