“Simpsons” X Fashion: Joyrich & Club75 ; Ubiq
A whole slew of high-end merchandise inspired by The Simpsons has been made available from a bevy of high-end designers, proving that the longest-running animated series in primetime is still fashionable after 30 seasons.
First up, Ubiq, has released a number of new kicks inspired by the series featuring designs emblazoned with famous Simpsons phrases like “Eat My Shorts” and various characters now made available at stores like Atmos.
Similarly, Club75 has released The Simpsons x Club 75 x JOYRICH collection featuring all sorts of jackets, bathing suits, hoodies, even reversibles featuring a bunch of your favorite characters from the fine city of Springfield.
The Simpsons was last nominated for a 2017 Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program and recently wrapped it’s 29th season. THE SIMPSONS continues to strike a chord with viewers for irreverently poking fun at anything and everything. With its subversive humor and delightful wit, the series has made an indelible imprint on American pop culture, and its family members – HOMER (Dan Castellaneta), MARGE (Julie Kavner), BART (Nancy Cartwright), LISA (Yeardley Smith) and MAGGIE – are television icons. Already the longest-running scripted series in television history, the Emmy Award-, Annie Award- and Peabody Award-winning animated comedy has surpassed “Gunsmoke’s” record of 635 episodes for a scripted television series.
THE SIMPSONS is a Gracie Films production in association with 20th Century Fox Television. James L. Brooks, Matt Groening and Al Jean are the executive producers. Film Roman, a Starz Company, is the animation house.
