Watch: HBO Teases “Animals” Season Three For 2018

It’s a “blink and you’ll miss it” tease, but it’s a tease.

HBO has released a sizzle reel for the upcoming 2018 year and included is a quick look at the third season of Animals which is slated to premiere at the mid-way point sometime next year.

We’ve been getting drips and drabs for upcoming guest stars that have been teased by the show’s producers, but other than that, it’s been pretty quiet in terms of any firm announcements for Animals season three.

HBO’s decidedly adult animated comedy series ventures into the nether regions of Earth’s least inhabitable environment, New York City, which is home to a motley crew of downtrodden creatures. Whether it’s lovelorn rats, gender-questioning pigeons or aging bedbugs in the midst of a midlife crisis, the awkward small talk, moral ambiguity and existential woes of non-human urbanites prove remarkably similar to those of humans. Created by Phil Matarese and Mike Luciano — who voice many of the characters — and produced by Jay and Mark Duplass.
