Futurama Live-Cast Announced

Is this the future of Comic Con and live shows?

The official Facebook page for Futurama will be hosting a live-read of a popular episode of Futurama yesteryear on June 20th @ 8 pm PST. The entire cast is said to be on hand as this appears to be a killer marketing ploy in regards to Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow which had a release date that was leaked however not 100% confirmed by TinyCo or 20th Century FOX.

This comes a little over a week after Netflix pulled Futurama which caused a firestorm of ire among fans, some seeing cause to launch petitions to bring the series back to the streaming service. Even the print adaptation of Futurama fell by the wayside this year as the physical print version of Futurama Comics were canceled in favor of an all-digital issue earlier this year.
