Review: Wallykazam “Ted the Bed”
Latest episode sends mixed messages.
Spoilers Below
This week, Wally focuses on the letter “E” with his magic want but pronounced like in works like “jet”, “net”, and so on and so forth. One of these words, “bed” is brought to life and tasked with helping Wally and all his friends go to sleep due to the fact that, despite being a sleepover, forgot to bring their sleeping bags.
The kids are ready to go to sleep, but “Ted the Bed” wants to stay up and play “Hide and Seek”. As the game progresses, most of the kids are found except Bobgoblin, who doesn’t get found until much later in the episode and after a rather perilous journey.
Our Take
While I like that the series teaches its targeted audience words and proper hygiene, I’m not ok with the concept of these characters staying up late and walking around a forest whilst playing a game. Walking around in the woods can be very dangerous without adult supervision in some parts of the world, and thus, should’ve seen the kids stay at home at that hour.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
