Review: Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitsu: Skybound “Misfortune Rising”

The Ninja are undercover in the Police Station looking for Nadakhan or any signs of him. While Nia is batting off suitors left and right, Nadakhan visits Jay, making him use his wishes only to find out he was adopted but potentially worth a bunch of money. The Sky Pirates attack the city and the Ninja try to stop them, but the cops are still chasing them down. Kai gets captured by Nadakhan and is brought back to an earlier time where he gets to see his father.  While the rest of the Ninja get the Lantern, land gets stolen by the Sky Pirates to rebuild Djinjago.

Our Take

On the week of July 11th, we’re getting five nights of Ninjago leading up to the finale. That’s good, because I wanna see more of the monkey shooting off cannons. Other than that, I actually have no idea what’s going on here.
